VERTORIS DOES GLUTEN-FREE Vertoris Pizza House introduces our new gluten-free product line this month, centered around a wheat-free base for pizza crusts, baked ziti and spaghetti - perfect for people who crave pizza or pasta and usually go without. Vertoris also added a gluten-free beer to their beverage menu so diners can enjoy a cold beer with their pizza. To sweeten the gluten-free menu, a housemade flourless chocolate cake has been added. A portion of the Vertoris dining room will be set aside to host up to eight youngsters. Each future pizzaioli receives an 8-inch pizza shell, cups of pizza sauce, various toppings and mozzarella cheese to create his or her own personal edible work of art. Once complete, the staff will bake the pies in Vertoris brick oven while the kids personalize their pizza boxes. Bradenton, wishes to thank everyone who dined at Vertoris on Tuesday, September 15 as they participated in the Dining With Friends to benefit the Senior Friendship Centers. Vertoris donated 10% of net sales to the Center. Senior Friendship Centers, Inc., established in 1973, is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to helping older adults live with dignity and independence in Sarasota, Desoto, Charlotte, Lee and Collier counties. Funded in part by State and Federal agencies, and support from private foundations and individuals, Senior Friendship Centers serves more than 10,000 older adults annually.     Pink On Purpose Restaurant owner and employees of Vertori’s Pizza House participated in "Pink On Purpose" during Breast Cancer Awareness month to raise funds for the American Institute for Cancer Research. Employees, dressed in pink, exchanged donations for tote bags, pins, post-it-notes and educational brochures. Additinally, funds were collected at Vertoris "Good to be Gluten-Free" booth at the Sarasota Farmer's Market on Saturday mornings throughout the month.
